Privacy Policy

This policy covers www.commercialproduction.tv, operated by CommercialProduction.TV, the discount production arm of L.A. Castle Studios, 154 S. Victory Blvd., Burbank, CA 91502 (“we”, “us”). It explains what happens to information when you browse the site, watch a sample, fill out a form or call us from an ad.

The short version

• We only ask for personal details when you choose to contact us or order a video.
• We use what you send us to answer you, quote and produce your video, and only for the other purposes described below.
• We don’t sell your personal information.
• We use Google Ads tags to measure whether our ads lead to calls and inquiries. That uses cookies, which you can block or opt out of.
• Videos play from Vimeo and YouTube, and our questionnaire is hosted by JotForm. Those services have their own privacy policies.

What we collect

Information you give us

Contact form. When you send our contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number, subject, the type of video you’re interested in (if you choose one) and your message. The form is delivered to our inbox by an email delivery provider. If a message can’t be delivered, its contents may be kept temporarily in our hosting provider’s logs so we can still follow up.

EZ Creative questionnaire. After you order, you can describe your business, your preferred actor and set, and what you want your video to say. This form is hosted by JotForm and the answers are sent to us.

Phone and email. If you call or email us, we naturally receive your number or address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider receives technical information when your browser requests a page — your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our Google Ads tags and embedded video players may also collect device and usage information as described below.

How we use it

• To reply to your questions and give you a quote.
• To produce, edit and deliver your video, and to stay in touch about your order.
• To measure which of our ads lead to calls and inquiries, so we spend our ad budget sensibly.
• To keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with others for their own marketing.

Services we use

We rely on a few trusted providers to run the site. Each one processes data under its own privacy policy:

Cloudflare

Hosts the website and delivers it quickly and securely. Cloudflare processes request data such as IP addresses to serve pages and block malicious traffic. It also runs the code that sends our contact form; if a message can’t be delivered, its contents may be kept temporarily in Cloudflare’s function logs. Email delivery provider

Our contact form is sent to us by email through a transactional email service, which processes the details you enter only to deliver the message.

Google Ads

Measures conversions from our advertising — for example, when someone who clicked an ad submits our form, places an order or calls us. See “Cookies & ad tracking” below.Google privacy policy

Vimeo & YouTube

Our sample and actor reels play from Vimeo and YouTube. Players load only when you choose to watch a video. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

Cookies & ad tracking

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our own pages don’t need cookies to work. The cookies on this site come from Google Ads and, when you play a video, from Vimeo or YouTube.

Conversion tracking. If you arrive by clicking one of our Google ads, Google’s tag can record that visit and later note whether you contacted us or placed an order. This tells us which ads work. We see totals, not a profile of you.

Call tracking. If you arrive from a Google ad, the phone number shown on our site may be replaced with a Google forwarding number. Calls to it ring straight through to us, and Google reports call details such as the time, duration and caller area code so we can tell which ads lead to calls.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
• Opt out of personalized Google ads at Google’s My Ad Center.
• Skip the embeds. Videos load only when you press play; the questionnaire loads only on the EZ Creative Questionnaire page.
• Ask about your information. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Depending on where you live — including California — you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. We will honor requests as those laws require.

Retention & security

We keep inquiries and order details for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them. The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information such as payment card or Social Security numbers through our forms.

Children

This site is for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
